Obviously, its preferable if the transport side gets sorted(since it is one of the biggest forms of pollution in the world). |
I have to agree that is one of the major concerns. I'm (hoping anyways) to be purchasing a new car next year and I've been researching hybrids. I drive about 32 miles highway everyday and the gas mileage on those things for highway is fantastic. I could drive to work and back on one gallon gas a day.
Unfortunately the company I work for contributes to the problem and would probably go out of business if the world found an alternative fuel source, but I wouldn't complain one bit

Um, yeah, its like saying "pardon" and "what" at least ten times in 1-2 minutes.....
Everyone has to survive I suppose, but some companies just don't want change.

Oh I didn't see this before now...
Well, in the question regarding 'Going Green' as Montine put it, I'm very positive about it all. It's good that we (humans) are finally starting to turn things around.
But I've always had the wicked theory that the world is going down simply because of us... Nature will once more 'rule' and so the 'true' lords of the earth - all other living beings except us, the humans - get back their world... in a very far-away future, that is, and maybe even not on this planet Life will survive, where we won't in the end.

Just saw this one too XD
Itīs a good thing that thereīs something being done now, but Iīm not that faithful on our future. Ecologists have always existed, and the world didnīt change because of that. We have to hope it turns out for the better though, and ecologist people become powerful enough to make a real change.
Thereīs also another problem, like someone said earlier, lots of the stuff that pollutes our world are things we use everyday, and itīs hard to change that.
