The date at the end only applies to Japan though, there is no release date for the States or Europe yet. It looks like it is going to feature full voice-acting though, so that is pretty cool.
The in-game footage of them looks weird but it still looks cool. I hope there's also writing for te speaking parts as well because I normally have the sound off at college which is where I play it most when I'm waiting for my next lesson to start.

The cool thing about this one is though, that it looks like it will actually have a lot of little movies in it, unlike number 3 which had one or two videos in the whole thing.

Naturally. The old one was originally for SNES so it wasn't that great in the way of sound, graphics and cutscenes (if there were any).
