mmmn, i love fable. but Molonoux is a liar.
so take what he says with a grain of salt. he may be a genious and have amazing ideas. but then again the original fable sounded alot cooler before it was released. (its still a good game! just doesnt have all the features first unvieled.)

Fable was an awesome game but it needs more, like more things to do then just combat etc mabey like skills like online games, so for example a blacksmith skill you can make weapons, armour etc

Aye. I agree. Fable would be a lot better with some sort of skill progression. Like you said, Blacksmithing would be nice where you can make your own Armor and Weapons. Jewelcrafting or the sort would be nice, so you can make your own Augs... Maybe like Research too so you can make your own spells. Those kinds of things... I also think the game should've been longer. I smoked that game in like 1 day.

correct me if im wrong but, i heard that fable2 is going to deal more with new techology<aka guns n machines> n such? cause if this is true, it has a high chance of it becoming a comptelerly rubbish to me, cause im a mage player n well i just get this feeling that it going to if that happens the mages are done fore T.T. It would be cool if they actually take fable to the online world like WoW though.

no,no,no, and no. Maybe the original fable and the lost chapters expantion, but not Fable 2. It's still in production and hasn't even reached the Beta Stages yet.

Actually I thought Fable was a bit pants to be honest, too easy, plus once you'd discovered the shield - combo cheat/glitch ... ridiculous, oh yeah and the character creation lacked somewhat. I just hope Fable 2 has more to offer, like the dog and firearms but im not holding my breath.

You're funny  Uou never got a shield in fable, nor a character creation ability. I'm pretty sure you're thinking of oblivion. as for mass effect and two worlds, mass effect isn't out yet, go reserve it, and two worlds, if you like it, go kill yourself.
