Sorry about taking so long to check in. I had a busy day in town and didn't even get a chance to turn my computer on until very late today.
I've disabled the saving area for now, until I'm sure it's safe to use. I'm going to try to recreate this problem on a test server and see if I can work out the cause and fix it.

I can't see anything wrong with the coding, so I'm going to make the Record Book available again in a few minutes from this post. There are only things I can think of that could cause this level drop bug:
1) Starting a battle, leveling up a couple of level in another window, then finishing the battle. Highly unlikely.
2) Hitting the wrong button on the save page.
There could be something I'm overlooking, but I can't imagine what. If anyone else encounters this problem, let me know with as much info as possible and I'll take another look.
