Death Proof
Well, i just watched Death Proof, Quentin Tarantino's latest movie, and i got to say it was nothing like i expected. It does start out a little slow, then BAMMM! Then it throws you into a whole other story, but you get this feeling of deja-vu , Fast Cars, Pretty Girls, then again, BAMMM! and the ending, oh, I'm not even going to spoil it. I almost cried tho, seeing that white 1970 Dodge Challenger with the 440 being treated so, i mean come on, thats like the Holy Grail of Muscle Cars! ahh, but i forgive you Quentin, I do....

yeah, its a throw back movie, full of retro. what got me is how the movie unfolds, leading you to believe its gonna be one way, and ending up another at the end. trust me, I loved it. course thats just my opinion.

i liked movies from back in the day over some of the movies they make now. i guess its because back then they had alot less to work with to make a good movie

agreed. now some i really do dig. one of my favorite movies from the eightys was "the lost Boys". every time i seen that bumper sticker in the grandpa's refridgerator that reads "Old Fart" i laugh. but to edit my last post, i don't hate all 50's stuff, some of the classic monster movies are my all time fav's.

i think scray movies were alot scarier in the 90s and 80s, now i can't even take a scary movie seriously anymore.

Yep, I felt the same way. But I did expect a film like this, Tarantino always ads random talk in his movies, this one just had a lot more talk than others lol.
I really didn't like the ending though, how suddenly one car was faster than the other.
