if you say for its time you just pick the most recent that came out before 2000....I.E. FF9, then in 2000 FF12 *if you think otherwise than you better have MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR eye damage....*

yeah, 2000 is different then 1990s, so you compare the stuff from 1990 to now. and since FF12 came out in 2001 then its not the best for its time, its time would be 2000-2999.
