my favorite horror/grindhouse movie is The Last House on the Left, one of Wes Craven's older works of art.

the august underground trilogy is what i'd class as horror in the truest sense of the word...simply deals with a scenario that any of us could easily be a part of, making all the more disturbing.

August Underground huh? Sounds familiar
I like alot of the old horror movies,
I just saw Evil Dead and I really liked it
I'm not sure if The Thing (1982 remake) is classified as horror or sci fi...but either way it was pretty creepy to me....

its kind of a very specific taste, not conventional horror, its pretty much fake snuff movies.
the thing was a great movie, still stands the test of time for visuals.
i really want to see the evil dead movies, have only seen the army of darkness movie, which id class more as comedy than horror.

well the old movie called The Fly with Jeff Goldblum always freaked me out. Body parts just fell off, and the acid. i think that scarred me for life as a child.
