need help
im at disc 2 ,when you meet eiko(dont know how to write it) in the outland village after you marry then when i want to enter the sanctuary ,the screen goes black and the music is still playing ,i know this is normal when you enter a new area ,but its stuck there i waited for half an hour but still a black screen with the music on the background.Then i started the game again still the same problem ,maybe its the scratches on the disc.
does anyone know what to do?

...do you know about disk safty...?
...hm...try softly rincing the bottom od the disk under cool waster...do not scrub it...
...then wait awhile before playing again...make sure your PS isn't overheated...
...notify me the results...

if you have an un countable amout of scratches in the game, then thats it, most likely its the game and not your playstation, the best solution id say is clean it as best as possible (be delicate) if that dosent work, then attemnt to but a new one

Possibly not... I have games for the PS since very long ago, and never actually finished them... If it is so old... Then I can confirm it is a problem with your CD :S

You still have a chance of changing the disc, FFIX's not extinct YET. I saw a couple of them in stores, yeah ancient stores lol. I still remembered buying FFT from this shop and the shopkeeper took out some dusty album with PS1 label on it!
Anyway, I hope it'll work after you changed the disc.
