Does Xi even HAVE a story? It's an MMO and most of them don't really have a storyline. That's like asking if the series 2 and a half Men has a better storyline than Alien or something...

It does have a story if you do the missions but no not a better one then X in my opinion.

i really wish they didnt call it ff11, as it shouldnt really count as being one of the series as its for online play (meaning i wont get the chance to play it- not a fan of paying monthly or whatever for a game).
why couldnt they have called it ff online?

Final Fantasy XI is a disgrace to the final fantasy name. if you need more elaboration, check around the forum i have spoken of this frequently.
i have yet to play XII though, can anyone tell me if it is a good game and where it places in quality compared to final fantasy 7,8,9, and 10?

The graphics are good but ...i really prefer final fantasy X because of the story , and it has summoners and stuff like that..
Well Final Fantasy XI is a good game you may like it more than me

XII is good but not one of the better ones...nice battle system although its a bit easy and gets boring if you set the gambits to where you dont have to do anything. The world is expansive and thats nice. Better voice acting then X. However most ff's had a plot that was more developed and easier to follow I think. Over all I would say VII and IX kick its ass. Its better then VIII I think because I dont know why but I was never to impressed with that one for whatever reason. Only slightly worse then X I think. Of course thats all a matter of opinion.

my brothers friend is a total geek and hes paying $60 a month for 3 characters! i cant belive he pays that becuase it doesnt even have a story line you go around kill monsters...... wow thats so exciting
