FF7 & Star Wars Reference or coincidence
...Recently...I've just watched star wars 4-6 for fun and through some observation...I've noticed these characters...yup thats right...It's Biggs and Wedge...two Pilots of X-wings...they're both friends (surprise surprise)...
...anyways I was wondering if this has any connection to FF7's two characters Biggs and Wedge (in the beginning of course...)

There's a rumour about Square being big Star Wars fans but it's not true. The fact that they both share those names is just a coincidence. Biggs and Wedge are also in FF VIII. Not sure about if they're in other games.

FFIX has referred a lot of things, and yeah, Biggs and Wedge were Knights of Pluto ^^
I think Iīve seen them all in some site, which includes Biggs and Wedge, Pandemonium, (from FFII for the NES) Hilda, Necron, (theorically based on Necrophobia from FFV, and I think itīs true, they look very similar) and a ton of other things...
