oh my god, im surfing the 1up articles.
MAN is 1up Console Bais. holy crap on a stick.
an article titles "Xbox 360 problems not just shipping" or something.
i click on it.. well guess what, it dident talk about any problem but the shipping one. ok.. we alll know about that problem by now. why are you still talking about it?
then they went on to praise the PS2 for its innovative online service. after that article i knew something was fishy and just said to myself "ok these guys are bias and/or high, if they thought the ps2 online service was innovative"

lol. i agree. they are rather bias. i still believe that they give the facts on upcoming games which is why i go there.
and as for mgs 3 subsistance's audience... i think the online part is really just to test the water. chances are any further online mg games will be multi platform.

that will be nice.
i can only affoard once next gen console in the upcoming console war. and since the Xbox 360 has the most games that actually interest me im going to be only getting it.
MSG4 was the only PS3 game that looked interesting. so if im lucky maybe MSG4:S will be available on the 360.

while the PS2 online service blows. its still the only way to play online with the game.
so i'd at least try to put up with it if you have the network adaptor.

lol
my friend also sucks at Halo2 online.
so he plays custom games like "Hide n Seek" and other custom gametypes that dont involve twitch skill.
another one is warthog wars. where you drive around trying to avoid the wraths, and a different version where you drive around trying to kill the guys not in cars with plasma pistols.

now i have the network adaptor, and thought xbox live is good. the setup it perfect for what they want, but i dont see how the ps2 online service is any worse. its really all about the game right? ive played socom 1 and 2 online without any trouble (besides some lag on socom 2) and a couple other smaller games. the only downfall is the lack of users online for ps2.

when i tried it was just awful. plagued with lag and exploits.
then again that was back when it came out.
it was reaaaly bad watching the 56k'er lagging your game in SOCOM because they wanted to use a mic.
sure they had made the game Broadband only. but the first thing out of their laggy mouths were "I just haxxord SOCOM to let me play on Dial up!!!" bastards.
i think SOCOM 2 fixed that so it should be fine lol.

well actually, ive found that bc of socom to (the game itself) it lags more than socom one. and i highly doubt ppl got to play with 56k. im sure it could be done, but anyone with the knowhow to do so would prolly have dsl or cable already lol

you'd be supprised.
though i bet that 90% of those people dident do it themselves. they had a hacker friend do it for them.
then again i never researched how to do it. it might be extremely easy like just plugging a 100mbit cable plugged into your PS2 and PC thats also plugged into 56k.
though i DO find it funny that the PS3 supports Gigabit connections. which would only be used at a LAN party. and even then it wouldent make a difference if you used Gigabit or 100mbit connection. (if we had 100mbit connections to the internet, 'LAG' would be nonexistant)
