Becoming a sponsor
... just another random suggestion ... but I think maybe it would be more of an incentive if maybe you could buy a star or something to become a sponsor? all the stars could be put on a different page with your name and whatever message you wanted on them... larger stars=larger messages=costs more?
Or maybe since this is a FF site you could buy FF character gifs with talk bubbles... same idea...
what do you think?

The top poster at the end of the month gets the award. He received that item since he was the top poster of last month. So if someone donates over $41 this month that person will get the award. It looks confusing now since I moved the sponsors from last month to this month. Thanks

Sorry it got shot down Melkor,,, back then we were over loaded with tasks on the programming to-do-list and people said they didn't need or want it much.
The reason I needed it so much is I get a ton of PMs and if they are just "hello" ones or auto friend adds I can catch them next time I visit the forum. When I do log-in then you have to read everything cuz the read flags will be reset when you leave. So you can't just pop in to read a PM and leave or you lose those flags.
cable... anything in this sub-forum that stands out to you that you might want FuN to look at?
