Starfire

From here on out I will be posting a story that I wrote myself its called Starfire so I hope you'll like it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------
Prologue
The wind was howling through the trees as the hover landed with a dull roar. A young woman stepped out of it she draped in deep red cloak that drug in the snow. She held a small bundle in her arms. “My lady” Her guard followed her out of the hover “We must make haste”. She turned to him and the wind blew her hood off she had long red hair and bright green eyes. “I know Grant” She said “I only wish to get a last look at my homeland”. “Lady Aislynn fear not” Grant said gently “For we shall return someday”. “Yes I know” Aislynn said placing a hand on his cheek. “Let us go now” Grant said. “Yes of course” Aislynn got a better hold on the bundle and followed after him.
Unknown to either of them they were being watched. “That ignorant wench” He snarled “She should know that she cannot hide from me”. He smiled revealing fangs that were tipped in black. “Follow her but remain silent” He told his men “She cannot escape”. He watched his men go after them each staying silent as the grave. “This is going to be fun” He laughed quietly “She will pay with her life”. He followed his men staying as silent as they were.
“Aislynn watch out” Grant pushed her out of the way of the arrow. “Ah if it isn’t my brother” The man laughed leaping out of the trees “I’m surprised that you would still protect this *”. “Never call her that Rhion” Grant growled “She is no *”. “She is a traitor” Rhion shot back “She betrayed her people”. “I did no such thing” She said. “You made a pact with the Lethanu” He snarled. She didn’t answer she only looked at the ground. “She was trying to save the Ferals” Grant said. “She is a filthy *” Rhion snapped “She only wanted to save herself”. “You *” She yelled flinging magic at him. “Weakling Feral” He snarled deflecting it with a barrier “MEN SURROUND THE CLEARING”.
Grant felt her move closer as Rhion’s men surrounded them. “Aislynn” Grant said to her “It is gonna be okay”. “That is funny” Rhion laughed “You actually think you can protect her”. “I would die before I let you harm her” Grant said in a grave tone. “Then you will die a fool’s death” Rhion snarled at him. Grant charged at him slashing at his arm but Rhion merely jumped out of the path. Rhion sent a shard of ice at Grant but it was deflected by a shield. "Now now Aislynn" Rhion said sending a bolt of electricity her way "You cannot interfere". "AISLYNN" Grant yelled as she fell to the ground. "Oh my did I kill her” Rhion laughed “Oh well that just leaves you and the whelp”.
She screamed in pain as her world slowly went to black. "Grant" She gasped. "Aislynn I'm here" He knelt beside her taking her hand. "Take Arella somewhere safe please" She said "I'll be fine just take care of here please". "Yes my love". He picked up the bundle and craddled it in his arms. "Great now I can kill both you and the whelp” Rhion smirked “This is going to be easy”. “You won’t get her so easily” Grant said kneeling and grabbing Aislynn’s wrist. There was a bright flash of light which illuminated the entire forest. “What the” Rhion covered his eyes blinded by the flash. When the light finally faded Aislynn and Grant where nowhere to be found. “Damnit they escaped” Rhion growled low in his throat “This isn’t the end”.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------
Well here is the prologue I'm also posting this on MySpace and Fictionpress.com and it will take me awhile to write it all I'm in the middle of trying to write my first novel.

Ok this is Ch. 1 and sorry its so short I ran out of ideas and I bet you didn't see this one happening
_____________________________________________________________________
Chapter 1
She woke up to the shrill sound of her alarm clock. “I hate early mornings” She mumbled to herself and smashed the snooze button “Yay more sleepytime”. She fell back to sleep pretty quickly only to be awakened again by the clock. “That’s it” She growled and grabbed her alarm clock “I’m gonna kill you”. She flung it across the room as hard as she could and it snapped in half against the wall. “Yay” She mumbled into her pillow and went back to sleep. “Alright get up now” Her father came into the room mixing a bowl of eggs “You have to go to school”. “Leave me alone” She mumbled covering her head “I wanna sleep”. “If you aren’t awake when I get back up here” Her father said leaving the room “You aren’t gonna like it”. He left her room shutting the door behind him. “Finally” She snuggled back underneath the covers.
“I can’t believe it she went right back to sleep” Her father was pulling ice out of the freezer “Your daughter is the laziest person I know of”. “She’s your daughter too Carl” Her mother was sipping a large cup of coffee. “I know Jenny I know” He put the ice into a bucket and walked over to the sink “Good thing I know how to deal with lazy sleepers”. “I’ll get my earplugs and you should wear a helmet” Jenny say leaving the room. “I will” He said picking the full bucket up out of the sink “Time for you to get up Arella”.
She had just fallen back to sleep when her door opened again. “Oh great” She thought “I am never gonna get to sleep in”. Just then a whole bunch of cold water hit her. She screamed and grabbed the nearest object. “What was that for” She threw at her dad hitting him in the head. “You’ve gotta go to school” Her father said “And I did warn you”. He left without saying a word and she glared daggers at his back. “Man now my bed is covered with ice water” She whined “I wanted to sleep”. She sighed in defeat and started getting ready for school.
“Well that did the trick” Carl said to himself placing a plate of eggs on the table. “Yeah she got through my earplugs” Jenny laughed entering the room again. “Hey whats for breakfast you big meanie” Arella said sitting down and grabbing her fork “Yum eggs”. “Hey is that anyway to talk to your father” Jenny said smiling. “Only when he drenches me with ice water” Arella shot back “Oh man I’ve got five minutes to catch my bus”. She kissed her mother and father on the cheek and ran out the door not forgetting to grab her back pack on the way out.
