also, if hes the cat and the moggle thing is taken the hits, how does he die :/, and, cait sith is usless really....he doesnt have great attacks. he is quite strong tho, in my game atleast, and i never use 'em really.

Cait Sith has the highest magic attack stat next to Aeris, and Aeris can't exactly be used later in the game. Therefore, Cait Sith is the one who can DoubleCast and QuadraMagic (8 hits wow!) Comet2 and do by far the most damage. Think of it THAT way.

magic becomes completely usless later in the game. once your chars are strong, the only time you gonna use magic is MAYBE in the northern caves. but magic is usless in the game towards the end.
