Honestly thats one GREAT idea, Square should abolish ATB methods already...its too classic. I say keep the random encounters but the battle once encounter is completely free! Just like in FFXII but just keep the random battles..that one cannot be abolished!
Haha, a lot of comments on Zell. I just want him to change his clothings....that dude got no sense of fashion, cmon look at Squall's and Rinoa's outfit....they're superb.

And the party member switching feature like in FFX, I think its a bit logic...cmon we're bringing the entire party and how come only 3 of them are spending the whole time in random battles.
Give every party member a chance so everyone can level up equally.
yea really. hwo can 3 people oly fit in he ting? in FF9 theres four, thats cool,. and in all the games he enemies exceed three :/ unfair lol.

things that i would add is everything this game all around sucked so yeah anything would make this game better the only thing i enjoyed was the characters IRVINE and ZELL

Do you guys sensed something? Almost in every FF games the storyline will always relate to *picks up the mic, test test ok* SAVING THE WOLRD~~~
Though the story a bit sloppy at first, but it always ended up with the mission to save the world.
Guess thats the classic, can't change it...so better keep up the storyline in FFVIII. Besides, FFVIII's storyline is not 100% about saving the world...they have a lot of romance outline as well.

The only way to defeat this boss is to switch your controller from player 1 to player 2..then his stats will be reduced. No more infinite HP. But well, basically its a Game Over when this boss summons his GFs. So you'll need to restart the game and fight him again hoping he doesn't use GFs.
