I started playing FFV on an emulator way back before it was released. It's a really good game, with a lot of depth that surprised me. It's got a huge number of character classes and abilities, really impressive for a game made for SNES. Good characters, too.

Thoul this is so shocking man I never knew that you were a gamer If that were so I would have sure to bother you with messages more then I do now Only kidding FFII was always one of my favs since I thought I was going to hate it but I was forced to watch it since my friend played it all of the time and I turned into a huge fan ever since.

I've been a gamer since I was a little kid. I've still got my old Atari 2600 even. I've got that, the Atari 7800, two NESes (old and later style), SNES, Genesis, Dreamcast, N64, GameCube, PSX, and PS2. I've had four GameBoys, but I sold my original one not too long ago.

Dude I have all of those systems too! (Except for the handhelds) Respect for Thoul increased by a factor of 9! Did you play Goldeneye as well?

No, I never picked that up. It's a FPS, right? I was never into those very much... I played a few on computer in high school and college, but that was about it. I can't think of any console FPS I've played... except maybe a couple of arcade game ports on the Genesis.

Yes it's a FPS game, so you may not like it but it goes down in history as one of the best games ever. So what games did you play on the N64? I loved both Legend of Zelda titles, they really put you into the environment as if you were really there.

Oh yeah, I even have a CD-i, too, so that can go on my list also. I never played it very much, though... didn't have enough time, and that was right around the time I got into phpbB I think.

Wow CD Interactive? There were some products that didnt really grab my attention like the other consoles that turned out to be successful, I suppose since back then when I had a subscription to just about every gaming magazine I kept up with the sales reports and figured that they werent going to last very long in the gaming market.
(Correction I just noticed in your eariler post you said you owned a Genesis, the only Sega system I owned was the Dreamcast)

On N64, I have both Zeldas (Ocarina is one of my favorite games, and Zelda has always been one of my favorite series - I have a ton of Zelda merchandise). Also Mario 64, Rampage world tour, a Tetris variant and something I can't remember off hand... Smash Bros? Yeah, I think that's what it was.
I borrowed a Star Wars game once from a friend that was pretty good, but I don't remember the name. It was some kind of thrid person shooter, IIRC.

Cool, I dont really promote or support emulators, but I heard that if you own a copy of the real game it is ok, so I played Zelda OoT on my PC and the graphics are really amazing on a PC monitor. It was their use of colors that made it look so beautiful although it was only a 64bit console.

Yeah, I saw an ad for a CD-i in a catalog back when they came out and I could tell it wouldn't last long. It was priced too expensively to compete in the market against the established consoles. I picked mine up off eBay a couple of years ago, just so I could get and play the three Zelda games for it. They kinda stink, though.
