Whats wrong with FFVIII's battle music? I think they're fine, try hearing the Orchaestral version (better tempo and music).

Some songs which sounded sucky are modified pretty well, I used to hate Cosmo Canyon song at FFVII but after hearing the Piano version...its totally OWNAGE!

And they're all can be found inside the site listed above cough cough, man the rules are giving me the nerves (advertising other sites and such).

It does count. Just because you don't need to level up doesn't mean you don't hear the music a lot.

Really true statement. I´ve heard it 928475936 times with my level 7 game (unfortunately, Zell has no longer 0 exp Crying or Very sad) and I never leveled up duh frustrated

You are right; you won’t be hearing it at all Razz.

The boss music doesn’t count in there.
And when a monster comes, you’ll be busy escaping (that’s if you are not leveling up) and it won’t take longer than few seconds.

The battle music IS important, but it’s only a part of the whole game’s music.
