The Characters of FFXII (updated - Feb 8th)
The Character's of Final Fantasy XII
Vaan:
Age: 17
Race: Hume
Description: He is a young orphan who dreams of escaping his life on the streets, piloting an airship of his own, free to go where he will. Obviously the main character (and my avatar).
Weapon of Choice: Sword, shield.
Ashe:
Age: 19
Race: Hume
Description: She is a Princess, thus the sole surviving heir to the Dalmascan throne.
I assume she will be the type of character who will have good agility but very weak attacks.
Weapon: It looks like a sword and shield.
Or maybe she will poses the power of summoning.
Penelo
Age: 16
Race: Hume
Description: An optimistic young girl who is close friends with Vaan. Maybe she will be a mage because she looks too weak to use physical power.
Weapon:I'm Guessing magic spells... Probably full of status-enhancing spells 
Fran:
Age: ?
Race: Viera
Description: Rabbit....Woman. She..uh..It will probably be a good combat fighter
Weapon: Bow and arrow
Balthier:
Age: 22
Race: Hume
Description: He is a sky pirate who apparently works with Fran. I reckon this will be the guy who be a mentor to Vaan, but unlike most mentors in movie/games, I think Balthier will actually have a personality, I hope.
Weapon: A pistol?

Race: Hume
Description: A captain in the Dalmascan army who turned traitor and slew his king. Probably the guy you look to when you are in trouble in a big battle, you know, when you need a sword-wielding kick-ass machine to do your dirty work.
Weapon: A sword I reckon.....A big one.

The Airship of Final Fantasy XII
It hasn't been confirmed yet but from looking at a few pics I found it seems this (below) is the airship our heroes will use in FFXII. Also there are different pictures of the same airship but one distinct difference.

Except for the actual game...the payment for the connection is probably 10$ per month...it's not that expensive but paying this every month gives me the headache....
