i hear its got... mini games for like friends... sounds like they took sonic in a completely new yet more aweful path. i miss the old sonic. (good thing you can get original sonic game for the virtual console through the wii shop ^^)

I've played it (finally, lol) and it's AMAZING! I think the leveling-up adds an interesting twist. My boyfriend and I have been having alot of fun playing the mini-games. The pirate-themed one is our favorite so far! That mode reminds me a bit of Mario Party.

I haven't gotten the chance yet but I'm very interested in it. The last few installments in the Sonich franchise have been terrible and this one looks like it could turn it around.

I think it looks like fun. I never really liked many sonic games but lately my 5 yr old has been obsessed with Sonic so I tried his favorite.
He likes Shadow and Sonic Riders. Apparently the worst ones ever but if you give them a chance as "different" games they really are fun.
And Shadow is freakin hard.

I'm a true Sonic-kid really...I grew up with Sonic on the Genesis systems, so I'd hope that me liking the Sonic for Wii can be a good sign. I also like the Sonic out for DS. The other games out aren't so great.

that means you dont remember the sonic for sega that had 2 players cooperative playing or the one that had player versus player racing/ring collecting stages? ? ?
im a sonic kid myself too. but btw you got a female sign, its a bit weird hearing kid from a girl. (calling herself that)

well co-op play isnt a "mini game" in my mind, and the racing was just that, racing. it was never the real appeal of the game and thus, mini games shouldnt be either.
i am breaking one of my own rules however, not to put a game down untill ive tried it. im just going from past sonic games that were horrible. it started with sonic 3d blast. that and everything after was downhill.
i dont know about this game but the idea of mini games game me the shakes.
