This is a poem I wrote a little while ago. Lt me know what you think. It's called Without You
I was his world
But he went away
My body was his temple
But he lost faith
I waited for a little while
Hoping he'd come back
Now I sit around and think
What's the point in that?
But I guess I'll never learn
Cause I still fall in love
I didn't want you to love me
Why'd you say you loved me
I could tell the world
About how you really feel
How insecure you are
But I'm not that girl
Not as cruel as you
I'm going to be me
The girl I wanna be
The me without you

I like the last line, it has an impact and it flows well
