Did you guys heard about Hinorobu Sakaguchi (the ex-producer for Square soft and Square-enix) quitted and formed his new company named Mistwalker funded by Microsoft?
(I think this is a bad news cuz heard rumours he brought a few other workers with him, square-enix might be depleting of good workers like Tetsuya Nomura, Nobue Uematsu,etc)
Been kinda busy last month cuatro, hard to log in until recently. Hey, how's your FF8 game going?

dont try to beat it at such a low level, the monsters to level up with you, but the bosses will always stay at 10 or so levels above what you should be at the part where you fight them

Apparently so. You have to get an emulator, the ePSXe one is the best, but I'll leave the rest of the explaination up to the others who can actually use the emulators properly since I'm having problems playing myself.
I'll try to describe my delimma as best as I can. When using ePSXe to play FF8, do you guys get like the 'fast-forwarded, double hasted' version. The super-speed goes for everything including the sound. Is that normal?
And also when you enter a battle the battle menu doesn't appear (Attack, Draw, GF, Items).
If anyone can tell me how to fix this, I'd greatly appreciate it, thanks. =)

The main problem with ePSXe is that you have to configure a lot of things.

Go to Options -> Video (or whatever), and change the FPS limit to "auto-detect", if you still have problems try the manual way with 50 or 60 FPS. If you still canīt play well, I donīt know what it is

Try the "object drawing" option set to 3 or 4.
