Yes you can get FFVII on a PSP. I havent done it myself but i intend to soon. Here is a very simple explanation. To find out how to properly just google for it.
Downgrade the PSPs firmware down to 1.5.
Upgrade the firmware to version 3.21OEB (I think thats what its called, just google it to check)
Download HotShots Golf from the Playstation Store and save it on your PSPs Memory Stick.
Transfer this to the computer and use a specific tool (don't know its name) to open this package.
Take the iso of your Final Fantasy disc and use the PSP conpression tool (once again don't know its name) to convert the iso into the proper format
Place your FFVII image into the package of HotShots Golf
Transfer over to your PSP and open Hot Shots Golf. Final Fantasy VII will now start. To change the picture and Name of the package you need to go right into the code of the hidden files.
I can't give a full descriptioin because school computers are blocked from gaming sites.

not as good as their said to be? how so? The ps3 has the greatest graphics of the next generation systems (followed by the xbox 360) even though im not gonna rush out to get one (because of the steep price) but i wouldnt mind having one. then there is the psp which is without a doubt in my mind the best handheld system out there in graphics, game quality and capabilities like the internet and music and im gonna get one as soon as i can

DS has internet. 
Wii's the best selling console at the moment anyway. It was even shown on BBC news with the presenters playing tennis. And there are hundreds of PS 3s waiting to be sold because no one wants them. And all the Wii's are sold out. Whenever there's new shipments of Wii's they always sell in 2-3 hours at the most.

I know the ds has iternet (i have one and am waiting for the ds internet to come out where i live) but it originaly didnt most people ive talked to beleive they are only copying sony i dont but some people do.
the wii may have the best sales but thats just because of the ps3's price which ill admit makes it way too expensive but i'd still rather a 360 than a wii but dont get me wrong the wii looks kind of fun with more than one person but as a single person system it doesent seem as good as the 360 or the ps3 but to each his own i guess.

I have 360 and Wii. To be fair, I only have one game for the 360 at the moment (Dead Rising). It's pretty cool, but the thing I love about Wii is the fact its actally interactive gaming. You don't just sit there twiddling joysticks and mashing buttons. You actually have to do the things in the game. Like Red Steel when you're sword fighting. You actually have to move te Nunchuk and Wii Remote like a sword and slice at them or block the opponents attacks. It's similar with Twilight Princess. You have to aim with the wii remote and attack in a similar way to Red Steel. Then you get Excite Truck where you have to use the Wii Remote as a Steering Wheel. Wii is far more fun to play then the other consoles which is why it's selling better.
It is true that most people are put off PS 3 by the high price though.

yeah the wii does look kindof fun (i especialy want to try red steel and twilight princess but im more of a fan of rpgs than anything else but racing and fighting are good to

OK there I partially agree, but come on when did everyone become so poor? £400 (again, in the UK) isn’t a high price… well not in my eyes…
And lets face it, eventually most people are gonna break the 360’s disk tray or break the wii remote’s connection or (if you’re a real retard) smash your crappy widescreen because you couldn’t afford a HD TV for the best picture with blu-ray dvd’s and games… <phew> holy crap im starting to sound like a salesman… god help me…

I read the long post...
PS3 in this country isn´t expensive... It´s TOO expensive... In your eyes might be cheap, but not everyone has good cash... My TV looked green until recently and it has around 20 years old, yet it works better than most of the TVs that are sold nowadays.
I think PS3 will be great though... Xbox is a really good one too, and it wasn´t even mentioned

£400?! Come to the real world! It's £480 just for the console and one control! And since you mention it, Gamecube and Wii have internet. More people were asking for Wii since the PS 3 launch. And...break the Wii remote's connection? You'd have to smash the Wii remote to pieces to do that you idiot! Wide screen's not crappy either. And the six axis controller...you do know that as soo as Nintendo announced that they're controller was going to be motion sensitive, Sony had an amazing (for them) brainflash of making thier control wireless.
