I used to play it but the game gets old, especially with the awper campers and hearing 9 year olds talking nonstop on the mic.

I hate the AWP...It is such an unfair gun. Especially because I am so bad at it...heck I am bad with any gun. I am usually lucky if I can kill ttwo or three people over the course of a game. Guess I need to practice more. To bad I have to do things like work.

Yeah it is the most unbalanced gun from any game. The minute you stick your arm out of a corner you are dead, and you have no idea where the awper camper is. That is the stupidest thing ever and the only reason I stopped playing it. There are servers that that disabled it but not many people play on those anymore.

that reminded me of a story a friend told me. he was playing socom 2 online and it was a field level, and he was camping in the grass and he head shot someone, no big deal, but the person he got started yelling "wall hax wall hax" over and over, and he was like... there arent even any walls you moron. those who have played counter strike should enjoy that.

Granted...I think that the AWP does pretty closly resemble it's real world equivalent, but there has to be some logic in the game to say that if you get shot in the toe no matter how big the gun you won't die.

Unless it's a rocket launcher. If you get shot by a rocket launcher in the toe, you're probably gonna die.
But we're not talking about those in CS:S. I've only played the game at my friend's house. My computer isn't good enough to handle gaming u_u.

any of the counterstrikes i found to only be entertianing at LAN parties.
what pisses me off is that headshots are so easy to get. i mean you buy a helmet. but it cant stop ANYTHING. a single bullet from a machiene gun can kill you instantly if it randomly hits your head.
its not just the head either. one time i had a sniper. and i was scoping on a hallway. and this guy ran across so i could only see his lower body and legs. i sniped him in the crotch and the game said i got a headshot. confused the hell out of me.
and again one time my friend was shooting the ground as he ran (i think he was drawing something)
he ran by me and i died all of a sudden. the death report said "Headshot" from soandso (the guy who was shooting the ground)
another time a guy across the map was firing his only weapon (the slow shotgun, cant remember the real name) we laughed at him and danced around WELL out of his range (like 200feet away) and he headshotted 2 of us.
it takes realism in a game to the point of making it unfun. for instance, if you are hit by a bullet, you stop moving (or move extremely slow) for each bullet you get hit buy. so a machiene gun slowly kills you as you are stuck in place.

I've only played it at my cousins house (same problem as grilledcheese)
The 25 minutes I played showed me that I'd love to get the game one of these days with a good computer. My current computer wouldn't be able to play it at all, it's only got windows 98.

Yeah, and atleast it's not my computer anyways (we borrowed it) my actual computer is in the closet untill we pay to get it fixed because of viruses.

Reformat the old one, or this pile o' crap? If you mean this one, I'm not wasting money on someone elses computer. As for the old one, I guess we'll just have to give a couple hundred bucks to a computer doctor.
