people think the movies are better just cos they are easier to understand. the series you can watch a couple of times and still you find new things and youre like "oh thats why" direct quote from myself

yeah i agree. I think it's one of the best. At first when i saw it, i didnt understand it, but after watching a few i got the hang of it. But if i miss one, the next one is alittle confusing.

i like the first move and i own all of the first season of stand alone complex on DVD, including the special edition tin u got for disc 7, ive seen some of the 2nd gig on anime central but havent yet bought the DVDs.
i talso own the 2nd movie but to be honest its just not quite the same as the first, theres just something missing and i think its cos it doesnt actually follow the major.
the 2nd ghost in the shell book is great, pretty complex, but still really good to read. it has nothing incorperated with the movies, so do think that it continues the stories of them, more its individual stories. its pretty cool how the major in the books has more than one body that she can control.
