Cyan is a good fighter, with a pretty good backstory. Yeah, the translated version of his accent really sucked, and maybe his story sucked in the English version too. But how could anyone not realize that the ability to do an Offering-type attack without the offering is extremely valuable?! I was able to have two strong fighters in one team just because of him....

Thatīs because people tend to teach everyone every magic before using the appropiate Esper to level up... Happened to me, but it wasnīt too late... At level 99 I had more than 100 Strenght.

I donīt see why Cyan is a bad character... It is a really strong physical weapon by himself. I should say my least favourite is Umaro, and my favourites are Mog, Celes, Edgar and Setzer. One hell of a party ^^

Umaro was sort of pointless. I liked Cyan personally. I didn't use his swordtechs, but he always had an offering and genji glove. My favorites would have to be Strago and Relm.

I beg to differ no matter how you train him locke sucks Sabin is the best in the game even without magic but give him magic and hes an all around powerhouse no matter what. sabin on his own could destroy the entire game. Acctually that almost happened i was playing on my snes a while back and i used bum rush and as he was coming down to deal the damage the game froze and wouldnt work for like a week afterwards.

Both Sabin and Setzer are lethal beasts when given magic and the appropiate accessories... I never tried Locke out though, but I donīt believe he has the right weapons to kill either.
And in terms of defence, have Mog use all the Imp stuff and Snow Muffler, and every single enemy will hit for 1 damage with physical attacks

So nobody's tried Locke with Atma Weapon, Valiant Knife, Genji Gloves, and Offering? He's the only character IN THE GAME who can do nearly 80000 damage with a single attack with that combination at 9999HP!

Even so sabin can still deal more damage given the proper accessories and weapons My entire party deals max damage every time no matter what Sabin, Cyan, Mog, and Setzer are all powerhouses when trained even the slightest bit. Especially Sabin and Cyan i dont even bother with the sword techs just deal some mega damage with a genji glove and a couple swords.

Dude, your Sabin CANNOT do more than 80k damage in a single hit. That's not even possible, because of the damage cap.

Well, but they all can actually do 80,000 damage. Mog can, and Iīve tried that out, using the Imp combination I mentioned earlier... And Setzerīs Fixed Dice deal 9999 damage most of the time, even with no maxed stats. Combine the Offering not with a Genji Glove, but with a Black Belt, and there you are
Havenīt tried Sabin out yet, but he most probably will be able too. Just raise Strength stat with Espers and youīre fine.

If you make a game with some low level, then train many levels with the proper Esper, youīll be able to deal 9999 damage with any character. (except Umaro XD)
I liked having 9999HP with an Atma Weapon too
