I thought it was okay... a bit slow in some parts, and too many references to the old movies. If someone isn't a fan of the old movies, I don't see how they could understand half the stuff in the new one. It seemed like half the dialogue was recycled from the original movie.
Pirates totally blew it out of the water, though, no doubt about that.

what are you people talking about are you talking about superman returns or some other superman movie well if your talking about superman returns i hated it it was so boring even my mom didn't like it and she loves watching superman. my sister said she wants to watch it but then i told her it was boring and i didn't like it.

superman returns wasn't so bad but it wasn't so good too...I'd give it as most of you did... it was kinda boring but also it had some good stuff in it.

They cut out the good parts like the trip to Krypton. I don't like they have a kid. Frank Langella played Perry White like a wuss.
