Our Own FF (Storyline)
Well... First of all, this storyline is related to the game I talk about here.
Second is, that anyone can read it... But I make sure that if you will to play it, youŽll find a SEVERAL ammount of spoilers here, so make sure that you read until the stage where you are in the game.
Third... The storyline ><
IŽll divide it in Four Episodes. Right now it goes until the end of the second one, but I wonŽt post it yet.
--Episode 1--
YouŽre name is Sigmund (unless you give him another name, of course, the same with all other usable characters) and you start in a castle, and someone wants to take itŽs most beloved treasure, called the Fire Crystal. This personŽs name is Golbez. But for some reason that IŽll explain a few lines later, the crystal will simply dissapear.
The King sends you on a quest to find it and bring it back, during that quest, youŽll meet Jack, the dragoon, and youŽll meet a hooded man.
A bit later on, youŽll find the Crystal, but now it has a free will, and wishes to fight you.
Once you beat it (stupid early hard bosses ><) the King will tell you that heŽs a legendary Dragon named Drafoi, and will take the crystal.
In a quest for knowing the truth of these crystal things, youŽll get to JackŽs home... In some trouble. Some kind of sickness turns people into robots, and so you have to get medicine in a cave. YouŽll meet a summoner named Loren there. But when you get back itŽs already too late, the sickness turned the King into a robot, and after crushing it, Loren decides to join you.
YouŽll eventually find out that Golbez took the Water Crystal, and you start to chase him.
After you found him... HeŽll challenge you, and youŽll retrieve the Water Crystal from him. Then youŽll keep your search for the crystals, with the Prince of Wer, the city next to the cave where Golbez lived, joins you.
Once at the top of the Wind Tower... YouŽll find yourself with the Wind Crystal >< but not only him, but Golbez, Drafoi and the hooded man, that seems to know Drafoi. You succesfully get it, and leave.
Then a race for the last crystal will begin. But somehow it escapes... And Drafoi gets mad at Philip, and crushes him... Say bye-bye for him coz he wonŽt join back till much later on, but instead of him, the sage Vait will join you... Somehow he knew where the Earth Crystal went, but Kluya, one of the old generals of the Darum KingŽs army, is with your enemies.
YouŽll be able to get this crystal, and Drafoi wants to make a meeting with you at his volcano, in order to decide who would get the crystals.
There youŽll fight one of DrafoiŽs minions and youŽll get that Fire Crystal at last. The hooded man, named Gorton, gets angry, and wants Drafoi to get them all back from you. Drafoi attacks you, but his attack isnŽt enough. The crystals will help you out...
But you appear somewhere youŽve never been. You get to know that there are 4 more crystals that arenŽt almost known of. You decide to go find them... Before Drafoi, Gorton and Golbez do.
You succesfully find the first of them, hidden in a cursed forest. (I bet youŽll get lost in it  ) There youŽll meet two unknown people (well, youŽll know who they are later) and youŽre dated in Luther, a.k.a. as the Red Planet. Then you go search for the last 3.
After walking a whole lot, youŽll get to a town with 3 sealed towers and a sealed cave surrounding it.
YouŽll meet the Great Spirit there, that is like a "god" in that town. He tells you that in those 3 towers there were 3 crystals, and heŽll let you pick what crystal do you want to get first.
After getting them all, itŽs time for true action... LetŽs go to that sealed cave... The 8 crystals were needed to open it, and there youŽll find some monsters you crushed all over the game, and you want to pawn again 
Anyway, at the top of it, Golbez stands still. Awaiting for you to come... His time has come, the final battle begins!
After the battle, a path to Luther will open... And itŽs time to say Bye-Bye to Gaia (the place where you are)

--Episode 2--
Now youŽre in Luther, and youŽll eventually meet the man you found in the forest where you got the fifth crystal. HeŽll tell you his story:
His name is Greidos. He was a member of a group, once called the Crystal Guardians, whose members are: Greidos, Zenil (the girl that always goes with him) and... Drafoi and Gorton. He will tell you that neither of them are the true enemy. He will tell you that five years ago, there was a war. This war was against the habitants of The Realm of Origins, a.k.a. Blue Planet. Five years ago, they raided Gaia, and destroyed the once called Empire of Darum. The Crystal Guardians fought with the ones who raided... They were a "master" and a "slave".
When they raided Darum, they killed almost every soldier, and made a deal with Kluya. The Crystal Guardians need to use the power of those pretty crystals you have, in order to bring The Realm of Origins closer to Luther, and strike, in order to end this war against the Blue Planet. You are told that youŽll have to wait until this happens, and so you decide to find a way to go back home. Greidos tells you to search for Cid.
ThereŽs a spaceship next door to CidŽs village, his creation.
He has a problem with the spaceship. Someone controls that it is neutralized by using a barrier that covers the whole planet. You suspect KluyaŽs the one who causes this. So youŽll go to search him.
YouŽll finally get to Kluya, and he doesnŽt have any choice but to fight.
Once youŽre done with him, the "slave" will come. His nameŽs Zeraphim, and youŽll eventually be in an impossible fight against him. Jack will get seriously injured.
Before heading back to Gaia, youŽll have to go tell Greidos and Zenil of the danger, as Zeraphim was planning to kill them next... After you do so, itŽs time to go back to Gaia.
The "master" has been there. In DrafoiŽs Volcano. Yes... YouŽll have to go there and kill some more punny monsters again... YouŽll meet at the place where you fought DrafoiŽs minion with this enemy.
At the top of the volcano after chatting a while, youŽll end up fighting a Gargoyle... The first of them.
Now that dangerŽs gone... Why donŽt you go back to see how JackŽs going? Well... $h!t... HeŽs gone!
It seems that someone kidnapped him.
YouŽll head to a castle, and youŽll be welcome by someone that looks familiar. And youŽll have to beat lots of these Gargoyles you fought at the volcano... And speaking about volcanoes... ThereŽs another one directly accesed from this castle
There youŽll meet this "familiar" face... I bet youŽll think its Drafoi (unless you read this, of course ><)... But no, he isnŽt... This one is a dragon that was created at The Realm of Origins. After fighting it a while, Greidos will come... And kill him for good lol.
YouŽll be now with Greidos, and Zeraphim. But... He isnŽt the matter right now, the most important thing is... Jack!
Before you know it, Greidos will warp you to a floating tower... And there youŽll find Jack, but of course... He isnŽt alone... The "master" has him... But heŽll drop you another stupid Gargoyle 
Ahem... You have Jack, and you were victorious but... How will you leave?
Someone will come after you, sent by Greidos in order to take you out. Her name is Helen. And once you chatted a bit, you think that the most prudent thing is to make a reunion in Darum, inside Gaia.
Once back in Gaia, or better said Darum... YouŽll find a familiar face... It seems that your enemy knew you would go before you even went. Now, youŽre getting ready to fight another of these Gargoyles when... He opens a portal to The Realm of Origins 
This is it! Now, youŽll be in the place were the Gargoyles are created. (remember that the dragon you meet, also was also created) After doing this... Small place , youŽll see that youŽre not alone, the Crystal Guardians, are there, and of course, a gargoyle, Zeraphim and the "master", named Lohemin. After some long chatting... YouŽll fight against the last of these pesky Gargoyles: The Gargoyle Lord.
Now, there will be another speech, and youŽll be able to fight Lohemin...
Once youŽre done with him, Zeraphim and Lohemin will start to argue... When Lohemin is beating him, Zeraphim will start laughing... And kill Drafoi. Lohemin will leave the place, and then, Zeraphim will summon a Black Hole, and it will drag you in.

Sigmund is a very good name to use first off. The story is pretty decent, but lacking in detail so far about the other characters, unless you haven't figured their parts out, which is understandable. You should incline towards some places seen in other Final Fantasys that are showing up again, and other situations and bosses perhaps. Still pretty decent story so far though.
May I make a few suggestions though? Can you describe more about the charactesr, and their personalities, so we have a better idea of how all this is handled?

Ooh, this is getting interesting. I like this. Sounds like it's going to be a long game. Before I can give more feedback on this, I have to see the next episode, and think about it more. But from the short description so far it looks like you've got things planned, but room for additions and changes so that's good.

Well, the game isnŽt short if you ask me... I donŽt want to change many things on Episode 2, since I like it exactly as it is now... In the game, itŽs really short, but has a lot of story in it. IŽm just starting to make Episode 3 in the game... So itŽs going to be a good while until I post it here.
I have some little ideas anyway... About everything that will happen around this game (even about the ending). BUT... Of course, I wonŽt write sidequests or the ending... In order to encourage people to play it
Well... Anyway, if you have any ideas, theyŽre welcome

Well... Right now is where I need the help
In episode 3, I planned that the Black Hole took your members to different places, right now you can only get four of them:
-Sigmund
-Loren
-Cid
-Helen (You find her at the tower where you rescue Jack)
When you pretend to go back to Luther, you notice that the barrier that Kluya made before is back. And forces you to land... In a place you havenŽt been before.
Next to this, I havenŽt planned too much, but hereŽs the idea:
-When Zeraphim summoned the Black Hole, finishing Episode 2, everyone but Gorton was dragged in.
-You donŽt know where Greidos and Zenil are, since they also were dragged in.
-When you meet Greidos, near from where you landed, he says that he saw Gorton.
The weird thing is:
-Gorton wasnŽt dragged by the Black Hole, and stayed to fight Zeraphim, but you donŽt know what happened.
-Gorton couldnŽt defeat Zeraphim, since he was the one who remade the barrier, so that explains that heŽs for some reason in Luther.
So... Here are some ideas I have:
-Making Gorton get somehow "possessed" by Zeraphim and Lohemin.
-Making him amnesic, and of course canŽt remember a thing about you, the Crystal Guardians or Lohemin.
In either way, Zeraphim and Lohemin will seek for his power during Episode 3.
