Problem with FFVIII for PC, do I need a patch or sumthin'?
Heya guys!
I have a problem with FFVIII Disc I for the PC. I dunno whether it's the disc or my graphics card, but the game freezes at the beginning of the FMV of the Communication Tower. I've tried over and over, but it keeps freezing there, the screen goes black and Windows Taskmsgr says there's an error in FF8.exe.
Previously I sent the error report and it said that there was a problem with my Graphics controller.
Now, I've heard there's a patch which can solve these kinda graphics problems with FF8.
But I can't find that patch anywhere!! All the sites who claim to have that patch don't work! I can only find patches for FF7..
Helpieeeeeeeeees ?

well i assume you googled it. if you couldnt find it, maybe searching on a peer to peer program would work. if not i dont knwo what to tell you. also, if it was your graphics card, i dont think it would have played any of the game at all, like the opening movie, which im sure you saw in full. so i doubt its the card. hopefully someone else has more answers for you.

I suppose that one of them might help? I'm not sure, since I only have the PSX version.

So the games works fine till the tower part?
it sounds more like a program error from the game. Try reinstalling it.

I donīt know, I didnīt need any patches, I played it normally...
Maybe it is because itīs in Spanish, but I donīt know if you can speak Spanish XD
