I actualy had no trouble completeing FF4 advance for the GBA, in fact I thought the only thing making it hard was the limit to damage and HP being 9999 (have you tried double meteor when flare alone inflicts max damage?) and whats with one of Cecil's swords unleashing holy when your opp casts reflect? it bouces back and kills your own party members, smart move Cecil!

I agree with scargar it was merely unimpossible of no chances beating it. Maybe yourcopy of the game had a glitch or something because it was fairly easy for me.

talking about the JP release wich hes playing.... i reached the end and fought the boss, its the only 1 FF i wont ever finish. like if id train 1000 years just to kill that guy. its so imposible to train in the end if you didnt micro managed ur characters's growth equally on all stats at the begining..... wich is like -.-U

Pfft. I think that the game was a piece of cake. And yes, i plaed the uber hard version. The trick to beating the game is just training, training and training. It will take a while, but after that the game shouldn't be a problem.

FF2 (US) is the same as FFIV (JP)
I didnīt have trouble beating this game (I first got stuck)
About Ragnarok, choose the sword and play it at the Colloseum.

Wasnīt Ragnarok sword (the Colliseum one) from FFVI? Or am I messing up?
I only played FFIVīs SNES version, it was an overall easy game, even though it took me some time to find the last weapons and defeat the final boss.
I donīt know which other game versions are though... If anyone could make it clear, maybe I could play the other versions too!

There's also a Coliseum in FFIIj, but you don't wager items...it's one of the few places to find Wizards to get an Osmose tome though. Without Wizards, you can't get more than one.
