Logitech Cordless Keyboard and Mouse is really good
I figured it was time to upgrade my other Logitech keyboard so I stopped by Circuity City today to look for a new one. I never cared much for cordless mouse and keyboards, however this MX3000 model was the best looking and most comfortable keyboard which happened to be cordless so I went with it. It also came with a mouse which is shaped like a G5 but a lot better since it contains more buttons. I have a G5 mouse in my closet and I hate it since it feels rough and the mousewheel is extremely hard to press.
I am totally in love with this combo being cordless since I can pick up the mouse and keyboard and type from up to thirty feet away from my computer. The battery life is expected to last up to size months and it warns you when the batteries are low (the mouse and keyboard takes two double AA each which come with the purchase). I plan to buy another DVI to HDMI cord so that I can connect my graphics card to my HDTV and then just work on the PC from my bed The keyboard and mouse look and feel expensive compared to previous versions, so I am happy. I highly recommend this combo! I would have went with their best model but I didn't like the mouse that came with it so I chose this one. I haven't played any games with it yet but even if they are not that great I still may stick with it since everything else is perfect.

Darn I guess I spoke too soon since Counterstrike Source doesn't want to recognize the additional mouse buttons even though I installed the drivers for it Hopefully there is a way to tweak it since I haven't spent much time on tweaking the settings much.
EDIT
OMG I programmed my mouse to control my computers's volume from anywhere in my house! Sweetness for listening to music! Be cool if they made a mouse (or maybe one already exists) that is like the Nintendo Wiimote so I can scroll web pages without the need for the mouse to be on a hard and even surface.

Now honestly, how can you even see the screen fom 30 feet away? lol
I have a HP wireless keyboard and mouse which is really good, and sometimes I sit on a couch behind my desk chair and type but only then I can barely see what I'm writing.

So when I am in my living room listening to music I can control the computer's volume or turn the PC off. I could later on run wireless video connections to different monitors around my house and switch stations wherever I am. Of course I may not need the full 30 foot range however it is good to know that I have full coverage.

FunEnder there is a media mouse that does exactly as you said you wanted in a mouse.
it has Play, Pause, Stop, Zoom, Fast Forward, Rewind, Vol Up, Vol Down
i think it was a Logitech mouse.. not too positive. maybe Kenston.
Logitech does make amazing mice and keyboards, hell even the Creative lab Representitive says that he has a Logitech Mouse and Keyboard (by he is required to have creative speakers though)

I love my Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse! There are times I just want to kick back and lounge rather than be stuck at my desk. Not sure the model, but it has the comfort keyboard. I really didn't think I could get used to typing on a "split" keyboard, but it really isn't that bad once you get used to it.
