I stopped using Mist spells after I got to a point where I was so strong that they weren't necessary. I rather fight and use heal spells than use up all of my MP for every character to find out the enemy still lived afterwards.

yeah mist knacks are pretty much useless once you got good weapons and armors...it's only good at the start of the game..even summon are useless here...

i think it depends on your combination eh? cause sometimes i only do like 4-5 combo's and i get Torrent and sometimes Ark Blast but most of the time Inferno

im a cheater and i got the guide lol. i depends on how many of each lv. u get in the chain... for example with 3 lv 1's u get inferno

just like what i said you dont have to divide each character into different classes...since you can only use three character at a time then just buy three equipment for them to wear...you can just remove it when they die and put it in other characters then do the same thing if someone die in your party.......just use swords cause of its damage ....axe is not really that helpful since it's kinda depends on your luck....ohh use Death Bringer in your three character (damage 2000-3000) and it will be done in no time...look at the post of tips and hints...you will see everything you need there..

so care to explain why you get random damage when using axe?
strongest Katana has 90+ attack points and whoever uses it my max damage only exceed 2500-3500 every attack (with brave and faith) im talking about masamune
and the strongest Ninja sword has only 90+ attack points too and max damage is only around 3000+ (with brave and faith)
Ofcourse the sword Death Bringer for example not even the last sword but has 90 attack points and can automatically Kill one opponent...
On the OtherHand getting the Greatsword would be your last resort...fighting the secret espers and secret bossess will give you hard time if you stick with axe and ninja sword...ill give some exception on masamune since you can make up to 9 combo attacks in one hit)
ohh and one more thing...in your theory
axe = calculated using str and vit and good for balthier?
i think basch has more vitality and more str so it would be best for him?
katana = mag and str
I think better for girls...that is if your theory is correct
