There's a few video's of gameplay now too. I like the idea of having to complete a a story based mission in order to open 'the gate' to the next part of the level, it reminds me of the old first person shooters like Duke Nukem, Wolfenstein etc.
Although you can see DoC isn't a first person shooter. It's 3rd person and you can kinda zoom in so it has crosshairs on the screen to shoot the baddies. There's also some hand to hand combat too.
Also, another few things I've noticed are some efforts carried over from X-2 shooting missions (which I hated). Like the chain hit bonus and the lock on mechanism.
You can also use a mouse and keyboard for this game.
