Try illegal downloading like LW or Emule. There might be something there.
I honestly don't know. I'm still integrating myself with Sun Tzu, Go Rin No Sho (sp?) and Rotk while relearning Chinese.
I think it's easier for you to learn Japanese than find a translated book. Translation usually takes alot from the mystique of a book

Same thing here. I'm terrible at learning new languages but I'm trying.
If you want to learn though try this:
http://www.pentonoverseas.com/secrets-learning.htm
It seems great at teaching a language even if you're terrible.
Not because it has a secret technique or anything but because it prioritizes you with why you want to learn the language.
You can try it for free by downloading it off a p2p program.

Well I get lucky because I know a bit of Chinese and Japanese is like simplified Chinese so once I master Chinese, it would be an easy step to learning Japanese

Not necessarily but because the Chinese letters are more detailed than the Japanese yet closely associated, it feels easier like studying Spanish to have an easier grasp of studying Filipino because alot of common words are similar.
