I got to play the demo .
The battle system is awesome, both of them . Although it will take a bit to get used to for those who love the Turn Based Battles .
I remember when X-2 came out and they had partly-active battles .
I thought that was cool, nothing compared to XII .
And as for XIII , it doesn't even look like Final Fantasy, it looks as if its a whole new game .

How can you possibly judge FFXIII from what has been released? The only thing that has been revealed is a cutscene? Nothing about the battle system or the gameplay.
As for X and X-2, i loved them both. In fact, i've loved EVERY SINGLE game released by Square Enix including Star Ocean AND Dragon Quest, and i have trust in them to blow us away with this next one, and you should too. The fact that they leave us gagging for more each and every time should surely be enough to leave our minds at rest?
