well... most games in the past have been tageting men, and i really dont think thats changed overall. i personally dont have much time to be a hand held guy. if i have to time play games, im usually at home, and since thats the case, why not play a console game or even better, come here. lol

well i mean. when game was starting out it was naturally toward men just bc (dont know why) but just the types of games coming out these days or obviously toward men. and sony wouldnt change now. i dont think psp comes in pink?

Well I do know that everyone is mentioning how PSP has mostly sports games. I think that the PSP will really be awesome in a year or so when it drops it's price and gets some killer games.

yeah it has a lot of uses, which is good, although i dont think having movies in a new cd format is smart for anyone. but im sure ill end up getting one in a year or so. as fun said, good games should be out by then.

Looking at the games lineup for the Australian Launch it is definately directed for boys. There's 8 racing games on launch.. Here's the lot:
Wipeout pure, Midnight Club 3, Ridge Racer, V8 Supercars 2 (Toca 2), Untold legends, Colin Mcrae rally, tiger woods, virtura tennis, snooker (as if anyone would pay money for a snooker game), NFL street 2, Dynasty warriors, Spider Man 2, F1 Grand Prix, NBA Street, Tony Hawks, Ape Academy, Fired up, Medieval, World Tour Soccer, Everybody;s golf, Mercury, Lumines..
I'd say its pretty male orientated.

hmm I'd say both cause who would be so stupid as to just direct it to boys? I mean think of all the money they're going to lose from the girls?? Company's always think about money first! lol the games may seem to be for boys but seriously girls play it too (I don't but that's cause I don't like to think about stradegy lol) especially racing games! my friends and I play the racing stuff in arcades alot! lol The games might be directed more towards the boys (or its cause they selll better and they want to make a profit earilier) but I don't think PSP itself is directed to just one gender

but if you think about it companies must be making money out of half the population (girls) cus buy the time girls hav reached the age of 12-13 they dont wanna play with barbie and ken any more and want to get on a games console what ever format it is psp ps2 xbox plus i think they r great 4 travelin goin on hols and stuff  [color=blue][/color][size=18][/size]
