need help on FFX2
 hey ive made it to cloister 60 in that laberinth and i've got to fight this gisnt hermit
crab type monster.  anyways it does just enough damage each time it uses its normal attack to kill one of my characters. then it does a "megaton press" and THATS and instant kill also, on top of that its other move poisons you and takes away all of your mp. shell and protect are its auto abilities and it has 34 thousand and something health.  ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO KILL IT!?!?

haha man I got stuck on that same part and just gave up on it  I think all of your characters have to be maxed out in order to beat him, since I asked the same question back then.

Well, Concherer is pretty darn tough. If I remember, he has 343280 HP, so you're in for a long battle. If you don't want to go through the hassle of leveling up TOO much, then simply equip your Gunner(if you have one) with the 'Cat Nip' item(Causes 9999 damage when character is weak), and have the boss lower their HP to the yellow. Immediately initiate Trigger Happy and don't stop pressing R1 till the timer runs out. If you're fast, you should have hit him 15+ times. 2-3 more Trigger Happy attacks and he will die. Hope this helps..

Hi Penance and welcome to the forum  Yeah actually I used that trick to beat a lot of bosses easily, however when he hit my whole team with a lot of damage I died before I could finish him off

Adding to the Gunner idea, equip the othr girls with a Bersereker that knows Evade and Coutner. They'll move outta the way of the Concher's Attack, and strike back. That's how I beat them all. Except for Paragon and Trema, that is.

I was at lv75 (Double EXP rules!) at this point. Three Mascots all with Break Damage limit. Yunas Moogle Beam and Paines Catcling GUn did it for me.
O yeah, good ol Cat nip! I loved that accessorie against mega tonberrys, why are they so strong! And fast! First time round i almost fainted in the cloister full of them!

can't really remember what level i was when i defeated this guy but as long as you have your special dresspheres its easy just put two of you best dressphere on the unearring path and kick ass quickly!

i spent 46 hours leveling up my dresspheres that helped me skate through the game with ease all that time though i was on levell 90 when i got off the first chapter

Level 90 
Lol! I was lv15-20 at the end of chapter 1. Im playing my sixth time through the game and i still got quite a few dressspheres to learn. Including several ribbon abilities
